After graduating from the police academy, Ben Barber becomes partners with his soon-to-be brother-in-law James. Ben already has aspirations to become a detective, although James questions his abilities from the start. The two Atlanta Police Department officers are transferred to handle an important case in Miami. Ben wants to prove himself to James and their captain, but he must help solve the case before his wedding day back in Atlanta. The two police officers get into shenanigans and difficult situations on their way to catching the criminal associated with their case.
