An action thriller set in the future, Looper explores the idea of time travel as a commodity that is only available on the black market. The mob takes advantage of time travel by sending its targets 30 years into the past, where Joe, an assassin is waiting to complete the hit. Things change for Joe when his future self is sent into the past to become a victim of the illegal business that has made him wealthy.
