With the war on drugs escalating in the US, a special task force was created to stop drug traffic between Mexico and the United States. Kate Macer, a FBI agent, was brought onto the task force by an officer who believed she could help their cause. But as the team takes their journey through the lawless borderland with a team leader dragging behind a questionable past, Macer is forced to question everything she knows in order to stay alive.
